Why is it always the joints

I recently finished a project where I was so proud of the dovetail joints I crafted, only to discover a gap at the corner after assembly. It’s always the joints that seem to mess with my sanity; anyone else have a joinery disaster that turned into a good story?

But , I feel you! It’s so frustrating when you put in all that effort into dovetail joints, and then there’s a gap like, ‘why?’ I’ve learned that using a good measuring square can help catch those mistakes before assembly. Have you tried double-checking your corners before gluing?
