I was at the shop the other day, watching a buddy struggle with a stubborn piece of oak. I swear it was like watching a bad relationship unfold — lots of sharp comments and ultimately, a clean split when he switched to a new saw! Anyone else have a ‘woodwork romance’ story that went hilariously wrong? I could use a laugh while planning our next big project.
Sounds like you need a new blade for that drama! I’ve had my share of stubborn wood too; sometimes it just needs a little more TLC. Any luck with that new saw yet?

And i’ve definitely had my share of wood that wouldn’t cooperate — after a long struggle, I discovered that checking the moisture content can save a ton of headaches. It’s surprising how much a little extra drying time can make a difference.
