Dry-fit was perfect, so naturally I forgot to wax the curved caul before a 2 a.m. glue-up with Titebond III, and now a strip of maple is forever married to a walnut chair arm. Thinking about calling it an “integrated caul detail” and charging extra — anyone else ever turn a jig mishap into a design feature?
